Adults who have lost their ability to speak due to stroke, dementia, brain injury or developmental disability will appreciate being able to make choices using a low-tech communication boards. Symbol-based choice boards help adults with speech limitations and non-English speaking adults communicate their basic needs and wants to caregivers and loved ones. Our portable communication book is pre-made so you can start using it ASAP!

Our compact communication book comes with 20 communication boards with 12 - 1" symbol choices per board. Users simply point to the relevant symbols to indicate their choice. Topics covered are: weather, adult snacks, feelings, swimming, comments, beverages, fast foods, grocery shopping, sports, activities, health & beauty aids, personal care, people, places, breakfast, seasons, lunch, yes/no, about me, alphabet (for spelling out words) and WH questions.

Extra blank pages are provided to include your own vocabulary, photos of family and caregivers.
