The Buddy Shower System visual support poster was developed by a team of caregivers, OTs and social workers to help children and adults with autism, developmental disabilties and dementia clean themselves independently in the shower. It is ideal for group homes and any residential environment where 1:1 assistance may not be available or appropriate.

The waterproof poster includes 20 step by step visuals showing a neutral gender person washing up, with emphasis on body parts that can cause odor. Following this step by step visual aids in the shower gives people a sense of independence and confidence by being able to care for themselves, enabling them to perform this hygiene ritual unassisted and avoiding embarrassing moments. And saves time and water too!

The Buddy Shower System poster is 17" x 26" and is fully laminated. It adheres safely to any wall with velcro (included).
