What is your return policy?
We guarantee our products 100%. We want you to be satisfied with our products and offer a 30-day return policy. If you are not happy with the product you receive, please contact us prior to 30 days and we will either replace or refund your purchase. Errors in personalization will be corrected at no charge, or refunded. Sorry, but we cannot accept returns of correct personalized merchandise.
Simply return your unwanted product in original condition within 30 days of purchase and we will exchange your product or credit you for the full cost of the merchandise. Shipping and handling charges are not refunded. Some special order items may be subject to a re-stocking charge if applicable.

How can I place an order?
Secure Online Ordering: Our website is a Yahoo Store and provides for secure online ordering using VISA, MasterCard, Discover and PayPal. Your card will be charged only when your order is being processed just prior to shipment to you. Your credit card info is held online for 30 days.
Order by Phone: You may order by phone by calling toll-free 1-866-544-9540, M-F 9am-5:00pm EST. VISA and MasterCard accepted with phone orders.
Order by Mail: Mail your order plus 12% for shipping to Giving Greetings Publishing, P.O. Box 456, Sudbury, MA 01776-0456 USA. Make check payable to Giving Greetings. Please include a contact email or phone number with your order. You may send your order without payment and we will send you an invoice. Return this invoice with payment to receive your order.
Order using a PO: We accept purchase orders. Please fax to 1-857-288-7734 (New 09/09).
Sorry but we cannot accept school bids or RFQs for Mayer-Johnson products. Please contact Mayer-Johnson directly at 1-800-588-4548.
What methods of payment do you accept?
• Valid VISA, MasterCard and Discover securely accepted online. We also accept payment via PayPal.
• Personal checks drawn on a US bank
• Institutional purchase orders.
• 50% deposit required with custom orders.
All prices shown in $US. Our order minimum is $10.00 and prepayment in full must accompany your order.
How safe is ordering online?
All Giving Greetings online stores are secured using Yahoo’s secure encrption technology. Credit card information is only kept online for 30 days after your order. All customer information is stored on Yahoo’s secure servers only accessible by password to Giving Greetings employees during ordering processing.
Do I have to pay sales tax?
A sales tax of 6.25% is automatically added to your order shipping to a Massachusetts address, in compliance with state law. Orders shipped outside of Massachusetts are not charges sales tax.
Tax-exempt organizations in Massachusetts may be exempt from sales tax when a tax- exempt number or certificate is provided with your order.
How much do you charge for shipping?
We strive to provide the best possible service and will rate shop your order to find the lowest cost shipping method. If the actual shipping cost is less than quoted by $1 or more, you will be charged the lower rate and this will be show on the receipt enclosed with your order.
For average merchandise orders, shipping and handling within the US is automatically calculated as 10% of your total order plus $2.00 to cover packaging. For larger orders, we charge actual insured shipping plus $2 for packaging.
Do you ship outside the United States?
We are happy to send orders to customers outside the US. An additional shipping charge may apply depending on the shipping method and destination country. Please contact Customer Service
to obtain a shipping quote prior to ordering online. Or we will contact your after you place your order with the shipping quotation for your approval. Any customs fees and duties for all orders shipping to international locations are the sole responsibility of the recipient.
When can I expect to receive my order?
Products are generally shipped within 2-3 days after receipt of your order. You will be notified by email if there is an exceptional delay or if a product is out of stock.
Please allow an additional 2-5 days for shipping via first class mail or UPS Ground service. For shipping outside the United States, please contact Customer Service
to obtain a shipping quote.
What kind and quality of paper do you use?
Symbolic Sentiments note cards are printed on high quality, bright white card stock with a matte finish. Actual product colors may vary slightly from the colors shown online due to the slight variances in display. They are note card sized, 4.25" x 5.5", except where noted otherwise, and some contain an inside message. The cards come with coordinating nice quality, white envelope and are packaged in a re-sealable, protective cellophane sleeve. Clear plastic gift boxes are available for note cards for $1.00 additional except where included.
How do I personalize my note cards?
Choose your note card from the product page and place your order by selecting the Add to Cart button. There is a field called "Personalization" during the Check Out process where you include your note card personalization names. There is also a Comment field you can use to further clarify your instructions.
How do I order your products as gifts?
Giving Greetings products make excellent teacher gifts. Tick the Gift option at check out to wrap your gift in colorful ribbon with a “You’re Special” gift tag. Gift boxes are included as appropriate. The additional charge for this gift packaging is $1.00 per product.
We can also ship directly to your gift recipient. Simply include the recipients shipping address when completing the order form. Gift recipients receive a packing list that does not include prices.

By sending Giving Greetings charity cards throughout the year, you support deserving organizations that provide invaluable services and programs to families and children with special needs. We donate up to 20% from the sales of every note card to partner charities. Payments are paid to charities twice a year.

Sending charity cards to your clients and employees is a great way to show your sensitivity and generosity.

Do you have a catalog?
We do not publish a printed catalog but keep our website up to date with the newest products and special offers. Purchases can be made online, by phone or by mail. Sign up to receive period emails with new product announcements.
How do I find out about sales, special offers and new products?
Giving Greetings periodically throughout the year sends informational emails to our customers and prospective customers. These include seasonal specials for teacher/therapist gifts and holiday cards. Customers are automatically included in our email list. Interested customers can get on the list to receive announcements by providing your email address in the box on the home page, or by sending your email address to Customer Service
Do you sell or share my email and contact information with other companies?
Absolutely not – you get enough junk email! Your email and mailing address are held in strict confidence by Giving Greetings. We do not sell, rent or exchange our mailing lists. Your email address is used strictly by us to communicate with you regarding your order or to notify you of new products and special offers. Giving Greetings uses a third-party email distribution service that store and updates our proprietary email lists on a secure, password protected server.
Can I remove myself from your email list?
You can remove yourself from our mailing list in two ways:
1. Use the Unsubscribe option included in every email promotion you receive from us.
2. Send an Unsubscribe message to Customer Service
