Our Featured Mother of Invention
Giving Greetings recognizes the dedication of Denise Purdy-Grosz of Rapid City, South Dakota, a parent and advocate for her 14 year old daughter with autism. Denise created her Teach2Me series of printable visual supports with guidance from a special educator who used the materials in her classroom. Each CD contains 60+ essential pre-made boards with hundreds of Mayer-Johnson symbols.
"As a parent of a child with autism, I have experienced first hand how effective these visual supports can be....Parents and teachers often don't have time or resources to provide these visual supports which are now available on a CD to conveniently print out." says Denise.
